News

In a phenomenal rise, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has reclaimed his No.1 spot in the ODI bowler’s rankings. Siraj’s full-throttle bowling show was on full display in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2023. Siraj was occupying the top position until March 2023 before being dethroned by Australia’s pacer Josh Hazlewood. For the second time, Siraj has occupied the top spot in the bowler’s rankings. Siraj’s brilliant show with the ball was the most amazing spell led by Siraj as he broke many records during the process.

Siraj returned with six wickets after giving away twenty one runs from his seven overs. India had successfully bundled out Sri Lanka for the low-key total of (50) as they won the Asia Cup 2023 by 10 wickets. Siraj had led India’s intense bowling attack with his fierce spell. Siraj’s rise is coming as a big boost for India heading into the ODI World Cup.
