Sri Lankan cricketer Lahiru Thirimanne hospitalized

Sri Lankan player Lahiru Thirimanne has been hospitalised after being involved in a car crash accident in Thrippane, Anuradapura. 

The former Sri Lankan skipper has been admitted to a hospital with minor injuries that he suffered during the accident. As per reports, On Thursday morning, Thirimanne’s vehicle collided head-on with a lorry approaching from opposite direction 

Lahiru played extensively for Sri Lanka, maintaining a 13-year career before drawing curtains on his international career in 2023.
