Eng vs Aus 1st T20I: All you need to know, playing XI, head to head

On Wednesday, England and Australia are set to clash in the opening match of their three-match T20I series, marking the start of an exciting and highly anticipated series. The series is set to deliver high-octane cricket, with both teams boasting dynamic players. Australia are coming off a 3-0 series sweep over Scotland and would look to continue with the same enthusiasm.
England have been bolstered by the arrival of Josh Hazlewood and Matt Short. Following a hamstring injury, Nathan Ellis was already ruled out of the series, having replaced by Riley Meredith in Australia squad. Australia will be led by Mitchell Marsh in the presence of experienced campaigners Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa, Josh Inglis, Tim David and Cameron Green.
