“Team India could benefit if they have the services of Tendulkar”: Former Indian players suggests Tendulkar as batting consultant for BGT

Former Indian cricketer WV Raman has suggested that BCCI should consider appointing former Indian cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar as a batting consultant for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, in a bid to help revive the forms of veteran players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Tendulkar’s vast experience and insight could prove invaluable in sharpening the technique and mindset of these two crucial batsmen, who have faced challenges in recent times. Moreover, India’s batting came under huge criticism following 0-3 series defeat against New Zealand recently. WV Raman took to social media to put forward his opinion.
“I think that #TeamIndia could benefit if they have the services of #Tendulkar as the batting consultant in their prep for the #BGT2025. Enough time between now and the 2nd test. Roping in consultants is rather common these days. Worth a thought?”.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy will begin on November 22 with the first Test in Perth. Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is one of he most high-profile series, offers a perfect platform for a player of Tendulkar’s pedigree to impart his knowledge and help the batters regain their form.
