ICC Champions Trophy 2025 fixtures announced
The fixtures for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 have been announced, with Pakistan set to face New Zealand in the opening game on February 19 in Karachi. India will kickoff their campaign by taking on Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai. Eight sides have been divided into two groups of four.
The blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan will be held on February 23 in Dubai. India, following the government advice, had refused to travel to Pakistan, who are the hosts of the tournament. They have not travelled to Pakistan since 2008. Defending champions and hosts Pakistan feature in Group A alongside Bangladesh, India and New Zealand, while Group B features Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa. Notably, if India make it to the final then it will be played in Dubai, otherwise it will be held in Lahore.
