Australia announce their World Cup squad

Australia have named their 15-member squad for the approaching ODI World Cup 2023 slated to be played in India in October-November. Potential batter Marnus Labuschagne failed to make the cut in Australia’s final squad. Australia will be having their World Cup campaign under the leadership of Pat Cummins. Australia’s squad is brimmed with vastly experienced players like Steve Smith, Mitchell marsh, Josh Hazlewood and David Warner. Australia’s batting will consist of players like Steve Smith, Travis Head and David Warner. Australia have included solid all-rounders in the form of Mitchell Marsh, Cameron Green and Marcus Stoinis. Australia have two wicketkeepers in the form of Alex Carey and Josh Inglis.
Australia will have the service of most experienced bowlers like Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and skipper Pat Cummins in the pace department while their spin attack will be led by Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar. As of now, Australia are engaged in the ODI assignment against South Africa. Australia have emerged victorious five times in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup.
