ENG-W vs SL-W 3rd T20: Series at stake for both teams

England Women and Sri Lanka Women will be coming against each other in the third and final T20I of their ongoing three-match series on Wednesday at County Ground, Derby. The series is levelled 1-1 with both teams having won one match each. England won the first T20I by (12) runs (DLS) whereas Sri Lanka registered their eight-wicket victory in the second match. This will be the decider where Both teams would hope to make their dominance to register series victory.

Talking about Sri Lanka’s performance, they managed to get victory in the second match with the help of skipper Chamari Athapaththu’s half-century. Harshitha Samarawickrama’s and Vishmi Gunaratne are also looking good with the bat. In the second match, Sri Lanka had bowled out England for (104) in (18) overs as they chased down the total in (13.2) overs. For England, they would hope for Danielle Wyatt and Alice Capsey, who both had done well in the first match with their scores of (48) and (51) respectively, to intensify their performance and help the team.
