Centuries from Kohli and Rahul propel India to an enormous total

Team India resumed their innings on 147/2 with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul at the crease on ‘Reserve Day’ on Monday at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo in the Super Four match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. Indian players Virat Kohli and KL Rahul came out with all guns blazing to take India to a monumental total. Both batters hammered their centuries to take India to the total of 356/2 in (50) overs. Both Kohli (122*) and Rahul (111*) unleashed their batting onslaught while playing impressive shots. Earlier, Pakistan decided to bowl first after winning the toss on Sunday as India got off to a nice start with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scoring their half-centuries. Due to rain, match was called off on Sunday, which is why ‘Reserve Day’ came in place on Monday.
