Aiden Markram’s century helped South Africa beat Australia by (111) runs in the third ODI of the five-match series on Tuesday at Senwes Park. Unbeaten knock of (102*) from Markram alongside Quinton de Kock (82) helped South Africa post a heavy total of (338/6 in 50) overs. There was also half-century from Temba Bavuma that gave South Africa a bigger edge in the game. Earlier, Australia had won the toss and decided to bowl.

In their chase of the big total, Australia got off to a fine start with David Warner and Travis Had hammering (78) and (38) respectively. After the wickets of these two batters, Australia could not receive any further scoring from their batters as South African bowlers gave a harrowing time to Australian batters. Gerald Coetzee took four wickets while Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj returned with two wickets each. Sisanda Magala got one wicket. South Africa restricted Australia to the total of (227) in (34.3) overs. With this win, South Africa have kept themselves alive in the five-match series.
