BAN vs NZ ODIs: Both teams meet in 2nd game after rain spoils first
New Zealand and Bangladesh will come across each other in the second match of the ongoing three-match series on Saturday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. The first ODI between both teams didn’t produce any result as it had been washed out due to continuous rainfall. Going into this match, it will be important for both teams to register wins in both matches to record the series victory. Talking about the first match, there was little action to be witnessed as Bangladesh had put New Zealand to bat after winning the toss. Match had been reduced to (42) overs following the rain. Will Young and Henry Nicholls had played the knocks of (58) and (44) respectively. While, Bangladesh bowlers too had bowled beautifully well with Mustafizur Rahman and Nasum Ahmed chipping in with three and two wickets respectively. But match couldn't be completed as it had to be abadoned without any result. Notably, This series holds a lot of significance for both teams as ODI World Cup is just little far.
