World Cup 2023 Warm-Up Match: India to square off against Netherlands
India will be locking horns with Netherlands in their second World Cup Warm-Up game on Tuesday at Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. India had their first warm-up game against England but that had been abandoned without a ball being bowled, however, toss had been done but continuous rain didn’t allow the game to get underway. Going into this match, India would look forward to having some game time to ramp up their preparations ahead of the official ODI World Cup matches. There is a little uncertainty havering over Virat Kohli’s presence in the game as he has flown back to Mumbai due to personal reasons. However, India would want to get complete game to get themselves into perfect rhythm. Netherlands, on the other hand, had their last match against Australia where there was no result due to rain. The match had been reduced to (23) overs with Australia scoring (166/7) in (23) overs. Netherlands, in the chase of target, were (84/6) in (14.2) overs but rain intervened due to which match couldn’t be played further.
