SA-W vs NZ-W 1st T20I: Focus shifts towards T20Is as both teams meet in the first match

South Africa Women and New Zealand Women will be coming against each other in the first T20I match of the five-match series on Friday at Buffalo Park, East London. Both teams had recently played the three-match ODI series which South Africa Women won by 2-1. South Africa won the first two matches by (4) wickets and (7) wickets respectively. New Zealand Women had won the third ODI to register their consolation. Going into the T20I series, South Africa Women will be quite confident after having registered their series victory in the ODIs. South Africa Women would hope to repeat the same performance in the T20Is as well. New Zealand Women, on the other hand, would look to change the course of their performance in order to shine in the T20I series. For South Africa, Laura Wolvaardt, Tazmin Brits and Sune Luus would look to continue with the same rhythm. For New Zealand, Suzie Bates, Amelia Kerr and Sophie Devine would hope to come up with powerful performances to help the team.
