Santner's five powers New Zealand to victory over Netherlands
Getting to their second consecutive victory in the ongoing ODI World Cup, New Zealand are disseminating their wings of confidence moving forward into the tournament. On Monday, New Zealand shattered Netherlands to record a comfortable 99-run win in their second match of the tournament at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Put into bat, New Zealand's top order shone with magnificent performances. Will Young (70), Rachin Ravindra (51), Daryl Mitchell (48), and Tom Latham (53) all put their best foot forward to take the team to the total of (322) in (50) overs. Coming to chase the total, Netherlands lost their openers V. Singh (12) and Max O'Dowd (16) early. There were efforts from Colin Ackermann who scored (69) runs but that wouldn't help the team with New Zealand bowlers being in their groove. Mitchell Santner returned with his fifer to bundle out Netherlands for (223) in (46.3) overs. Matt Henry and Rachin Ravindra took three and one wicket respectively.
