Dawid Malan shatters a massive record with his 6th ODI century

England opener Dawid Malan broke a huge record with his sixth ODI hundred that he hammered during England’s second game of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 against Bangladesh on Tuesday in Dharamshala. After being put into bat, England got off to a resounding start with Jonny Bairstow and Dawid Malan leading the charge. Malan’s remarkable ton was the biggest support that England got in their crucial match. Joe Rot too made a big change with his 82-run knock to help the side put up a total of (364). Malan’s century that earned him a huge record stood out as he scored (140) off (107) deliveries. Malan became the fastest batter to score six ODI hundreds leaving behind Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq. Dawid Malan took (23) innings to score six ODI centuries while Imam-ul-Haq had completed this record with (27) innings. Babar Azam scored his six ODI hundreds in (32) innings whereas Indian opener Shubman Gill notched up his six ODI hundreds in (35) innings.
