Mohammad Rizwan on Pakistan's match against India
With their two back-to-back wins, It’s been really fruitful campaign for Pakistan so far in the ongoing World Cup 2023. Pakistan are having a powerful rhythm after their consecutive victories against Netherlands and Sri Lanka respectively. The recent victory Pakistan registered was against Sri Lanka on Tuesday against Sri Lanka which was rife with action. The man, who stood up to the challenge, was Mohammad Rizwan as he hammered an unbeaten knock of (131) to guide the team to their 6-wicket win.
Pakistan chased down the highest total of (344) in (48.2) overs after losing four wickets. After successfully wrapping up their assignment in Hyderabad, Pakistan will travel to Ahmedabad to face Arch-rivals India in their third match of the World Cup. Pakistan and India will locks horns on Saturday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Speaking after the victory against Sri Lanka, Mohammad Rizwan said Pakistan will have their own plan against India.
“We now have momentum. Tomorrow, our next match, everyone knows that it is with India, but they will also come with a plan, we will also come with a plan,” said Rizwan during the press conference.
