World Cup 2023: Palpable excitement persists ahead of India vs Pakistan clash
One of the most thrilling encounters in the World Cup tournament will be witnessed between India and Pakistan on Saturday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The excitement among fans surrounding the clash is always increasingly palpable as both teams confront each other during the World events only. Due to political conflicts between both nations, bilateral series are not held between both teams because of which fans eagerly wait for the India vs Pakistan clash which they only get to see twice or thrice in a year. There is a bitter rivalry between both teams when they are on the field and the complete involvement of fans makes it even more exciting with emotions running high from both sides. Last time, both teams met was in the recently wrapped-up Asia Cup where they had played two matches, one of their matches had been washed out due to rain while another match was won by India which was a huge victory for the Men in Blue. As per reports, the tickets for the mega clash were sold out within an hour of its release, so it can be imagined as to how much significance this clash holds among fans from both sides.
There is an enormous anticipation building up surrounding the clash with cricket lovers looking forward for an action-packed match. The India vs Pakistan clash will be marked with a grand celebration where there will be many stars performing ahead of the match. In attendance, there will be big stars from Indian cinema like, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth. From cricket fraternity, Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar among others will be attending the clash. Having a look at their performances, both teams are riding high on success with their two consecutive wins in their previous two matches. India have played two matches in the tournament which were against Australia and Afghanistan, India remained on top in both games with six-wicket victory against Australia and eight-wicket victory against Afghanistan. India’s performance has been good enough to give them confidence heading into the match against Pakistan. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kl Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have all been wonderful in their performances.
For Pakistan, their last two matches ended positively with their wins against Netherlands and Sri Lanka respectively. Pakistan have also recorded good performances from their players but their big worry remains the form of skipper Babar Azam who has failed to get going in their last two matches. In the match against Netherlands, Babar Azam managed to get (5) runs and his outing against Sri Lanka was disappointing again with his 10-run knock. Pakistan would hope for their captain to play a comprehanesive innings against India. It’s going to be an another big battle with both teams gearing up to make gains and gather confidence.
