Positive Afghanistan to come against Confident New Zealand
The 16th match of the ongoing ODI World Cup will have the game between New Zealand and Afghanistan on Wednesday at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Afghanistan’s recent 69-run win against England must have encouraged them to come out with more such performances to keep themselves lifted. Afghanistan have played three games in total, of those three, one has gone into their favour while two remained in negative results for them. It was incredibly brightening for Afghanistan to open their victory account in the World Cup against the defending champions. Afghanistan have suffered their defeats in the matches against Bangladesh and India respectively. Collective efforts from the team have brought successive result for Afghanistan. Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rashid Khan, Hashmatullah Shahidi and Mohammad Nabi have all been good.
New Zealand, currently, are being the tough nut to crack with their powerful performances coming in each match.
