South Africa annihilate England to get a massive 229-run win
South African bowlers were on carnage as they ripped through England's batting line-up to bowl them out for the paltry of (170) in their pursuit of 400-run target. South Africa registered their huge 229-run win to consolidate themselves further, going forward into the tournament. No top-order batter from England was able to score more than (20) as they kept losing their wickets in quick succession which put South Africa on top early on in the game. Jonny Bairstow (10), Dawid Malan (6) Joe Root (2) and Jos Buttler (15) all remained unable to get going. Ben Stokes, who was playing his first match of the tournament, lost his wicket after scoring (5). Earlier, put into bat, South Africa remained brilliant with Reeza Hendricks (85) and Rassie van der Dussen (60) who both made a huge start for the team. In the middle, Heinrich Klaasen (109) scored his century to take South Africa to the total of 399/7 in (50) overs.
