BAN-W vs PAK-W 2nd ODI: Bangladesh Women beat Pakistan Women in a super-over win
In the second ODI match of the three-match series, Bangladesh Women thrashed Pakistan Women after winning the super over by one wicket on Tuesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Earlier, Bangladesh Women had decided to bat after winning the toss where they got the help from Nigar Sultana who scored half-century to bring some steadiness in their innings after they lost crucial batters quite early. There was also a major knock from Fargana Hoque who scored (40) runs to take the team to the total of 169/9 in (50) overs. While chasing the target, Pakistan Women received a good start from their openers Sadaf Shams (29) and Sidra Ameen (22). Down the order as well, they kept receiving valuable knocks from Aliya Riaz (21), Nida Dar (27) and Najiha Alvi (22) to level the total as Pakistan Women were all out for (169) in (49.5) overs. The game went into the super-over with Pakistan Women handing 8-run target after losing (2) wickets. Bangladesh Women in their chase scored (10) runs after losing one wicket. With this win, the three-match series is tied 1-1.
