As the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League approaches the business end, Brisbane Heat Women will be meeting Sydney Thunder Women in the Eliminator on Tuesday at W.A.C.A Ground in Perth. Sydney Thunder Women got into the eliminator on the back of their win against Sydney Sixers Women on Sunday in the 56th match of the tournament. Brisbane Heat Women had beaten Sydney Thunder Women to advance to the Eliminator. Both teams are placed third and fourth in the points table respectively. Brisbane Heat Women, who have played 14 matches in the tournament, are having eight wins and six defeats. They have 16 points along with positive NRR of +0.203.

Sydney Thunder Women, on the other hand, have won seven matches from their overall 14 matches. They have lost six games while one of their games ended in no result. The winning team will move to the challenger where Perth Scorchers Women are already sitting. For Sydney Thunder Women, Chamari Athapaththu, Heather Knight and Phoebe Litchfield will be criucial. While, Brisbane Heat Women will bank on Grace Harris, Amelia Kerr, Georgia Redmayne and Jess Jonassen.
