Bangladesh scored (338) in their second innings of the ongoing first Test match on Friday in Sylhet after the brilliant innings delivered by Najmul Shanto (105) Mushfiqur Rahim (67) and Mehidy Hasan (50*). New Zealand bowled out Bangladesh for (338) in their second innings which will mean that New Zealand will need (332) run to come out victorious in the game. Ajaz Patel returned with four wickets followed by Ish Sodhi taking two wickets. Starting their second innings and chase, New Zealand would look for a steady start from Tom Latham and Devon Conway. New Zealand have one-and-a-half day left to chase the huge total. Earlier, New Zealand had scored (317) in their first innings in response to Bangladesh’s first innings’ score of (310). Bangladesh have a superb bowling attack coupled with home advantages as they would search for early wickets to make their early dominance.
