After creating history by winning the first game, Bangladesh continued to dominate the proceedings in the second Test match as well after it got underway on Wednesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Earlier, Bangladesh had decided to bat after winning the toss with Mushfiqur Rahim and Shahadat Hossain being the top-scorer with their scores of (35) and (31) respectively. Bangladesh had struggled with their other batters as they had been bowled out for (172). New Zealand bowlers Mitchell Santner and Glenn Phillips took three wickets each to wrap up Bangladesh’s innings early.
