The chorus around competition in the Indian Premier League will grow much louder after a new rule in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is set to make its way. A new rule will reportedly be brought into the IPL as bowlers will be allowed to bowl two bouncers in an over. In the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, bowlers will be allowed to bowl two bouncers in an over. Amid the introduction of this new rule, the tourament is going to grow more competitive with most of the fast bowlers looking to take complete advantage of this. According to ESPNCricinfo, the rule is set to be implemented in the upcoming edition of the tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had recently put in place this rule in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy that is a domestic tournament in India.
