IPL auction 2024: Complete list of players sold and unsold
Mitchell Starc created history by being the most expensive player in the history of IPL auction. Starc was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for 24.75 crore. This was the highest-ever record bid in the IPL auction history. A while back, Mitchell Starc’s teammate Pat Cummins had created history by being the most expensive player in the IPL history. Cummins had been roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 20.50 crore. The IPL auction 2024 got underway in Dubai on Tuesday with all ten franchises sitting down to rope in the experienced and emerging talent. Rovman Powell was bought by Rajasthan Royals for 7.4 crore, while Harry Brook went to Delhi Capitals for 4 crore. Travis Head was roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 6.8 crore. Harshal Patel went to PBKS for 11.75 crore. Rachin Ravindra and Shardul Thakur were taken by Chennai Super Kings for 1.8 crore and 4 crore respectively. South Africa’s emerging bowler Gerald Coetzee went to Mumbai Indians for INR 5 crore. Daryl Mitchell was bought by CSK for 14 crore.
