In a major blow, Pakistan’s Khurram Shahzad ruled out of Australia Test series

Pakistan’s brilliant fast bowler Khurram Shahzad has been ruled out of the Australia Test series due to injury. Shahzad has been ruled out due to a rib stress fracture and abdominal muscle tear. Shahzad made his debut in the first Test on a high note after claiming five wickets across both innings. Shahzad was sent for scans after he complained of pain in his left side. After the scans, it was deemed that he won’t be able to mark his presence in either of remaining two Test matches. Shahzad had struck Steve Smith in both the innings along with the major wickets of David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne in the second innings.
