News

In the 19th match of the ongoing Big bash League, Sydney Thunder will be clashing with Sydney Sixers on Saturday at Sydney Showground Stadium in Sydney. Sydney Sixers have been buoyant with their three wins from their last four outings which will give them huge confidence going into this game. Sixers have been able to finish their job on promising notes and would look to build on the momentum. Sixers, however, lost their last clash against Melbourne Stars but that would not dwindle their momentum which they gathered from their three victories on the trot.

Sydney Thunder, on the other side, are going through tough times after their losses in the three games from their last four matches. They have slumped to the seventh position in the points table after their defeats in their last fixtures. They have been near the winning marks but could not get over the line. Sydney Thunder lost their last match against Brisbane Heat, but they would look forward to putting the losing streak behind and start afresh.

Sydney Thunder Probable XI: Cameron Bancroft (wk), Alex Hales, Jason Sangha, Oliver Davies, Alex Ross, Daniel Sams, Chris Green (c), Nathan McAndrew, Gurinder Sandhu, Zaman Khan, Tanveer Sangha

Sydney Sixers Probable XI: Josh Philippe (wk), James Vince, Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques (c), Jordan Silk, Jack Edwards, Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis, Jackson Bird, Joel Davies, Steve OKeefe
