Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the seasoned Indian fast bowler, marked his return to the domestic cricket scene in grand style, delivering a stellar performance in the Ranji Trophy with an impressive five-wicket haul. Bhuvneshwar Kumar looked into his best elements as he showcased his skills, reaffirming his stature as a potent force on the pitch. Kumar claimed his 13th first-class five-wicket haul which put his team Uttar Pradesh back on track after being bundled out for 60.
In the game between Uttar Pratesh and West Bengal, UP were asked to bat as they could muster 60 runs after losing their wickets in quick succession. Mohammed Kaif claimed four wickets for Bengal. Kaif is the younger brother of Mohammed Shami.
Later, in their first innings, Bengal were met with the same circumstances with Bhuvneshwar Kumar striking one after another to power his team back into the proceedings. From his thirteen overs, Kumar took 5 wickets while leaking 25 runs. He had three overs maiden.
