NZ vs PAK 3rd T20I: New Zealand pull off a 45-run win after Finn Allen's batting onslaught

New Zealand blew away Pakistan by thrashing them by 45 runs to secure their series-clinching win on Wednesday at University Oval. The outstanding innings from Finn Allen propelled New Zealand to a fierce win again struggling Pakistan. Finn Allen churned out 137 off 62 deliveries to make crucial contribution in teams’ win. With the victory, New Zealand are leading the five-match series 3-0, leaving no hope for Pakistan to make their way back into the series.
Asked to bat, opener Finn Allen unleashed a remarkable knock to paralyse Pakistan’s bowling attack. Finn Allen single-handedly anchored New Zealand to the mesmerising total of 224 in 20 overs. In his 137-run innings, there were towering 16 sixes that completely shattered Pakistan.
Pakistan, in their chase fell 45 runs short with New Zealand leading a commanding win. Babar Azam remained the highest-scorer for the team with his 58-run knock. New Zealand bowlers did a brilliant job, restricting Pakistan to 179 in 20 overs.
