WPL 2024: Schedule announced, to begin from Feb 23 with the clash between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals
The schedule for the eagerly awaited Women’s Premier League 2024 has been announced with Mumbai Indians Women taking on Delhi Capitals Women in the opening match of the mega tournament at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on February 23rd. The WPL made its debut last year, finding immediate success with players from others countries participating in it.
In the last edition of the tournament, Mumbai Indians had lifted the trophy by beating Delhi Capitals in the final. Heading into this edition, a total of 22 games will be played. The team topping the points table will directly head into the final, while, second and third placed teams will meet in the eliminator.
All matches of the tournament will be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and at Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi. Eliminator and the final will be held in Delhi at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
