Williamson leaves behind Don Bradman and Virat Kohli to rack up a massive record

Kane Williamson scored his record-breaking century in the ongoing first Test match against South Africa on Sunday on day one at Bay Oval. Williamson scored his 30th Test century to breach the record set by Don Bradman and Virat Kohli. Williamson completed his century off 241 deliveries, scoring 15 boundaries in his innings.
Williamson left behind greats Don Bradman and Virat Kohli in terms of most Test centuries to join England batter Joe Root at 30 Test centuries. Don Bradman and Virat Kohli have 29 Test centuries each to their names.
It was a stunning display of skill and resilience from Kane Williamson notching up a brilliant century on the opening day of the first Test against South Africa. Williamson’s innings provided the perfect foundation for New Zealand, instilling enormous confidence in the team and putting South Africa under great pressure.
Williamson got along with Rachin Ravindra to build an unbeaten 219-run partnership to lift New Zealand to an ascendant position. Racin Ravindra had brought up his maiden Test century.
