SA20 Eliminator: Paarl Royals to meet Joburg Super Kings in a crucial fixture

In the eliminator of the ongoing SA20, Paarl Royals will be squaring off against Joburg Super Kings on Wednesday at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. 

Paarl Royals played their last game against Sunrisers Eastern Cape where they suffered their 5-wicket loss, but this match will be crucial for them to win to advance to the Qualifier 2 where Durban Super Giants are already sitting. 

Paarl Royals, overall, have won five games out of their ten matches that they have played so far in the tournament. They have lost five matches, carrying 22 points along with the negative NRR of -0.544. 

Joburg Super Kings, on the other hand, haven’t enjoyed a good campaign in the tournament with only three victories from their 10 games. They have lost five games, while two of their games have ended in no result. They have 17 points followed by a negative NRR of -1.640

Joburg Super Giants played their last game against Durban Super Giants where they registered their seven-wicket win. Going into this game, Joburg Super Kings will be confident of victory to assert themselves into the Qualifier 2. Notably, Sunrisers Eastern Cape have qualified to the final of SA20 2024 after beating Durban Super Giants in the Qualifier 1.
