The match witnessed exceptional performances from both sides, with batsmen showcasing their prowess on the pitch. Asked to bat, Sri Lanka displayed their intent with the bat to dominate the proceedings, with openers Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando scoring (210*) and (88) respectively. Nissanka led the charge with a masterful display of batting prowess. He unleashed a flurry of boundaries and sixes in his eye-catching knock.
