BPL 2024: Chattogram Challengers take on Khulna Tigers in a crucial match

In the 39th match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, Chattogram Challengers will be squaring off against Khulna Tigers on Tuesday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Chattogram Challengers are positioned fourth in the points table, having 12 points and the negative NRR of -0.757. They have won 6 games out of their 11 outings. 

Chattogram Challengers will make it to the playoffs if they beat Khulna Tigers, while a defeat will leave them in uncertainty as they will have to rely on other results to go into their favour. 

Khulna Tigers, on the other hand, will anyhow need to win this game to keep themselves into the contention for the playoffs. If they lose their game against Chattogram Challengers, then they will be knocked out of the tournament, losing all hopes of making it to the playoffs. They also have one more game to go against Sylhet Strikers.

If they win both of their games in a row, then, there’s no stooping for them from qualifying for the playoffs, however if they win against Chattogram and lose against Strikers then, other results will come into effect to decide their fate. 

Chattogram Challengers are coming off their victory from their last game against Durdanto Dhaka as their last win will give them some amount of confidence heading into this game. Khulna Tigers, as well, will head into this game on the back of their victory from their last match against Durdanto Dhaka.
