In the last two games, despite putting their best efforts forward, Afghanistan have been quite far from victory. In the first game, Afghanistan lost by 4 runs , while in the second they endured 72-run defeat.
With Sri Lanka leading the series 2-0, Afghanistan will be eager to salvage pride and end the series on a positive note, having already suffered two back-to-back defeats. For Sri Lanka, they will be eying a series whitewash, further boosting their confidence ahead of the T20I World Cup.
