WPL 2024: UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals eye their first win as they face each other
In the fourth match of the ongoing Women’s Premier League, Delhi Capitals will be squaring off against UP Warriorz on Monday at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Both teams have played one match each in the tournament, but they are yet to open their victory account in the tournament.
Delhi Capitals played their last game against Mumbai Indians, which was also the opening match in the tournament, but they suffered their 4-wicket defeat against raging Mumbai Indians, failing to start their campaign on a high note. There were brilliant innings from Alice Capsey and Jemimah Rodrigues, scoring (75) and (42) respectively. Despite their efforts, Delhi Capitals failed to pull off their victory.
UP Warriorz, on the other side, also got off to an anxious start to their campaign, losing their opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. It will be really crucial for both teams to get to their victory in order to bring some stimulation to their campaign. For UP Warriorz, skipper Alyssa Healy, Grace Harris, and Shweta Sehrawat will be significant.
