The battle between New Zealand Women and England Women intensifies as they gear up to face each other in the second T20I match of the three-match series that will be played on Friday at Saxton Oval, Nelson. This encounter is going to be really crucial, with England currently leading the series 1-0.

In the first T20I, England edged past New Zealand, beating them by 27 runs. However, with the series still up for grabs, both teams will be eager to make their mark and secure victory in the upcoming fixture.

For New Zealand, the second T20I presents an opportunity to make their way back into the series and level it. In the first game, New Zealand Women were bowled out for (133) in their chase of (160). Notable contribution for New Zealand came from skipper Suzie Bates who scored (65) runs. But, their other batters faltered through scoring. They will expect their players to come out stronger to keep themselves alive in the series.
