All-round show sees GT claim a convincing win

Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 12th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League by seven wickets on Sunday at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, with five balls and seven wickets to spare. Titans kept their record of not losing at homeground intact with the massive efforts from the bowlers, coupled with a glaring batting performance.
Impact player Sai Sudharsanâs 36-ball 45 and unbeaten David Millerâs 27-ball 44 steered the team to the victory after being given a steady start by openers Wriddhiman Saha (25) and Shubman Gill (36) respectively, in their pursuit of (162). Gujarat Titans never looked troubled in their chase of a modest total.
Earlier, good bowling efforts from GTâs Mohit Sharma, contributing with three pivotal wickets, helped the side limit SRH to a chaseable total. Afghanistan trio of Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad and Azmatullah Omarzai returned with one wicket each.
For SRH, top scores from Abhishek Sharma (29), Heinrich Klaasen (24) and Abdul Samad (29) steered the team to a modest total. However, they couldnât ride on the momentum from their last game where they came out with a record-smashing performance.
