Pakistan skipper Nida Dar achieves a remarkable milestone

Pakistan Women team’s captain Nida Dar has successfully completed hundred ODI wickets, becoming just the second player from Pakistan to do so. She has joined former teammate Sana Mir (151) to reach this milestone. 

Despite Pakistan’s defeat in the second ODI against West Indies Women on Sunday, Nida Dar returned with an outstanding figures of 4-52 from nine overs, taking her number of wickets in ODIs to (103). 

After deciding to bat, Pakistan Women were bowled out for 223 in 48.5 overs. Sidra Ameen and Bismah Maroof played crucial innings to guide the side to a fighting total. West Indies, in response, chased down the total to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Shemaine Campbelle (52) and Stafanie Taylor (73) starred in West Indies’ last-ball win.
