BAN-W vs IND-W 5th T20I: India target series sweep against Bangladesh

India and Bangladesh Women will be battling it out in the fifth and final T20I match on Thursday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. India are leading the series 4-0 as they look forward to completing the series whitewash against Bangladesh Women. This is the most positive outcome for India against Bangladesh, who will be hosting the upcoming Women’s T20I World Cup 2024 later this year.
The consecutive four victories for India would have helped them get used to the conditions in Bangladesh. India recorded smooth victories in their last four games against Bangladesh Women without any stiff competition from them.
Bangladesh, on the other side, have come up with underwhelming performances, copping back to back defeats. Going into this match, Bangladesh will look to salvage pride with the win in final game. The fourth T20I match was reduced to (14) overs due to rain where India after being put into bat put up (122) in (14) overs for the loss of (6) wickets. Defending the total, India restricted Bangladesh Women to (68) in (14) overs for the loss of (7) wickets.
