IPL 2024 Final: Skies predicted to be clear in Chennai ahead of SRH vs KKR clash

Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad are preparing to lock horns in the final of the Indian Premier League 2024, to be played on Sunday at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Weather forecasts have predicted clear skies in Chennai for Sunday, with four percent chances of precipitation.
However, on Saturday, Chennai experienced a swift spell of showers that obstructed KKRâs practice session. As for Sunday, it is largely expected to be dry, with no threat of rain hovering over Chennai.
If rain disrupts the proceedings in the final, then thereâs a âReserve Dayâ in place. âReserve Dayâ meanwhile, will only come into effect only if the game is not finished on Sunday itself. Also, five-over game per side is possible if rain happens to spoil the proceedings.
The final encounter is going to be extremely thrilling as both teams are high on momentum and boast star-studded squads. Kolkata Knight Riders made it to the final after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Qualifier 1. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad went into the final on the back of their victory against Rajasthan Royals in the Qualifier 2.
