Australia are on the verge of storming into the Super Eights of the ongoing T20I World Cup 2024 after the way, they have led their campaign so far in the tournament. Australia are gearing up to face Namibia in their next match on Tuesday at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua. This is the first time Australia are facing Namibia in the format. Overcoming Namibia will hand Australia their berth in the Super 8s. Australia were off to a terrific start in their opening match against Oman, securing a 39-run victory.

In their second match of the World Cup, Australia pulled off a sweet win over their ashes rivals England. Having recorded victories in their last two games by healthy margins, Australia don’t have any problems as they look forward to having another incredible showdown. Pat Cummins made his successful return to the team against England after being left out of the first game.

Namibia, on the other side, have claimed one victory in the tournament in their last two games. They will be entering this game without their skipper Jan Loftie-Eaton, who has been withdrawn from the tournament due to disciplinary issues. Allrounder Gerhard Erasmus will be captaining the side in his absence. Australia are a tough nut to crack for Namibia, but still they would try to come out with strong performance to challenge formidable Australia.
