India demolish South Africa for a 10-wicket win in One-Off Test

In a massively commanding performance, India Women demolished South Africa Women in the One-off Test match, registering a 10-wickets win on Monday at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. India showcased their batting prowess by declaring their first innings at an imposing 603/6. This formidable total was built on the back of strong contributions from Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana, hitting 205 and 149 respectively. 

South Africa faced enough struggle in their first innings, managing only 266. Sneh Rana was the pick of the bowler, claiming eight wickets. The Indian bowlers were relentless, exploiting the conditions and ensuring a substantial first-innings lead for India.

Following on, South Africa put up a better fight in their second innings but were eventually bowled out for 373. Laura Wolvaardt and Sune Luus had scored centuries, but South Africa couldn’t overcome deficit. 

Needing just 37 runs to win, India's openers quickly chased down the target without losing a wicket, securing a comprehensive 10-wicket victory.
