LPL 2024: Jaffna Kings take on Galle Marvels
In the second match of the ongoing Lanka Premier League, Jaffna Kings and Galle Marvels will be facing each other on Tuesday at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. This would be the first game for both teams in the tournament as they look forward to kicking off their campaign on a good note.
In the last edition, Jaffna Kings finished on the fourth spot in the points table, winning three of their eight games. Jaffna Kings lost to B-Love-Kandy in the Eliminator during the last edition of the tournament. Galle Marvels, on the other hand, had a wonderful campaign last year, finishing on second spot in the points table with four victories and as many defeats from eight matches.
They were taken down by B-Love Kandy in the Qualifier 2. Heading into their first game, both teams would want to get a perfect start to do better than last edition.
