MLC 2024: All you need to know, teams, squads, players

The highly anticipated second season of the Major League Cricket is set to be kicked off on Friday (July 5), with the battle between MI New York and Seattle Orcase in the opening match at Church Street Park, Morrisville. MLC tournament, having gained huge recognition over the last season, will see the presence of Australia’s high-class players in the form of Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, Travis Head, Tim David and Marcus Stoinis

Young gun Jake Fraser-McGurk, who took the IPL 2024 by storm, will be displaying his prodigious skills at the MLC as well. A few of the South African stars like David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen will also be showing up at the tournament. 

Six formidable teams will compete in the tournament, each bringing a unique blend of talent. The teams participating in the tournament are, Los Angeles Knight Riders, Texas Super Kings, Washington Freedom, Seattle Orcas, MI New York and San Francisco Unicorns

Season second will have seven league games followed by the knockouts and the final will take place on July 28 at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas. MI New York emerged triumphant in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
