LPL 2024: Galle Marvels lock horns with Kandy Falcons

In the 14th match of the ongoing Lanka Premier League, Galle Marvels and Kandy Falcons will be facing each other on Wednesday at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. Galle Marvels go into the game on the back of a defeat in their last game against Dambulla Sixers on Tuesday. They lost the game by 25 runs after failing to chase 160, and being bowled out for 135 in 19.4 overs. 

On the other hand, Kandy Falcons are riding a wave of confidence, having beaten table toppers Jaffna Kings in their last game. They thrashed Jaffna Kings by seven wickets after they chased down a formidable total of 224 in just 18.2 overs, scoring 230 for the loss of three wickets. 

Galle Marvels sit second on the points table with three victories and two defeats out of their five games. While, Kandy Falcons are still languishing at the bottom of the points table with two wins and three defeats from their five games.
