LPL 2024: Strikers hope for a crucial win against Jaffna Kings

On Sunday, table-toppers Jaffna Kings are set to face Colombo Strikers in the 17th match of the ongoing Lanka Premier League at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Jaffna Kings, are currently leading the points table, having already secured their spot into the Playoffs, with five wins from their last seven games. 

Their consistent performance throughout the season has established them as the team to dominate. They have only lost two games so far.

On the other hand, Colombo Strikers, holding the third position in the points table, are keen to strengthen their position as they approach the critical stage of the tournament. 

A win against the top-placed Jaffna Kings would not only boost their morale but also solidify their standing as they aim for a strong finish. This match promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams gear up to bring their best game to the field. Both teams last met each other in the 13th match of the tournament where Jaffna Kings emerged victorious.
