Dushmantha Chameera ruled out of India T20Is
Just days ahead of the start of T20I series against India, Sri Lanka have been dealt a huge blow after their star pacer Dushmantha Chameera was ruled out of the T20I series due to an injury. The extent of the injury is not known yet, however reports of Chameera’s absence have been doing the rounds.
On Tuesday, Sri Lanka named their 16-player squad for the three-match T20I series against India, set to begin from 27th July. Chameera, recently, played for Kandy Falcons at Lanka Premier League 2024. Meanwhile, he has also been the victim of recurring injuries.
