Kemar Roach returns for West Indies for South Africa Tests

After missing the three-match Test series against England due to an injury, West Indies quick Kemar Roach has returned to the side as West Indies announced their squad for the two-match home Test series against South Africa. Roach had missed the England series due to a knee injury sustained during the County Championship. 

Fast bowler and vice-captain Alzarri Joseph has been rested to manage workload, with Joshua Da Silva taking over the vice-captaincy duties. 

"We have decided to rest our vice-captain Alzarri Joseph for this series. Alzarri has had a considerable workload recently, and this break will allow him to recuperate and return to peak performance,” WI head coach Andre Coley said.

The first Test will be beginning from seventh August at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad.
