Women Tri-Series 3rd match: Unbeaten Netherlands Women face Scotland Women

The third match of the ongoing Women’s Tri-Series in Netherlands will witness the face-off between Netherlands Women and Scotland Women on Thursday at VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen. Both teams are coming off victories in their last matches against same opponent, Papua New Guinea. 

Netherlands Women routed Papua New Guinea Women by 3 wickets in the opening match of the series. Whereas, Scotland Women overcame Papua New Guinea by 62 runs in the second match of the series. As both teams move ahead in the series, they would want to carry on with the winning momentum. 

For Netherlands, their top-order batters will need to help the team with runs, having failed in the last game. It was Robin Rijke, who turned out to be the saviour for Netherlands in the last match with her 60-run knock off 75. For Scotland, opener Saskia Horley provided a strong start to the team after Scotland were put into bat. Saskia Horley smashed her century and down the order, Katherine Fraser helped the side move to 258/6 in 50 overs while playing a knock of 74 runs unbeaten.
