Bangladesh have emerged with a 16-member squad for their upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan later this month. The series will be part of the World Test Championship, considering that Bangladesh have announced a strong set of players. Najmul Hossain Shanto will be leading the side amid the availability of top-class players.

Experienced Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das are part of the squad. Taskin Ahmed has also made his return to the side, having played his last game in June 2023. Speaking on the selection, chief selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain noted that they wanted to pick out best players.
